1.Main Job Purpose:
The Site Manager plays a crucial role as a key member of the Project Management Team, overseeing the HIV Prevention Project. This position involves a comprehensive range of responsibilities, including the effective administration, organization, and coordination of all project activities. The Site Manager ensures that the project’s objectives—such as reducing HIV transmission rates and increasing community awareness—are met efficiently and effectively.
2.Role Deliverables
Project Coordination
- Lead and support Peer Educators and outreach teams.
- Coordinate outreach activities, training, HIV testing, and counselling.
- Support psychosocial team with sensitization and outreach.
- Assist clinicians with case management and stakeholder engagement.
- Coordinate OST client recruitment and strategic planning.
- Conduct supervision meetings and compile reports.
- Distribute harm reduction kits and update stock cards.
- Recruit OST clients and submit reports.
- Conduct client risk assessments and manage harm reduction pack distribution.
- Organise district clean-ups, small group discussions, and ensure female client services.
- Drive team to outreach sites and ensure navigation of positive clients to care.
- Proactively support all capacity building activities/ workshops for HIV prevention implementing sites to enhance the effective implementation of planned activities needed to generate data and statistics.
Project Administration
- Maintain quality control and assurance of tools.
- Keep service records and submit to M&E.
- Support the M&E Manager in monitoring and evaluation and provision of technical assistance to implementing sites.
- Monitor peer educator performance and attendance.
- Administer HR policies and ensure compliance.
- Manage project vehicle and office logistics.
- Ensure PPE availability and proper medical waste disposal.
Personal development
- Keep service records and submit to M&E.
- Support the M&E Manager in monitoring and evaluation and provision of technical assistance to implementing sites.
- Monitor peer educator performance and attendance.
- Administer HR policies and ensure compliance.
- Manage project vehicle and office logistics.
- Ensure PPE availability and proper medical waste disposal.
- Submit inventory and sign-in registers regularly.
Organisational Responsibilities
- Audit HTS registers and manage adherence buddy programme.
- Attend meetings and represent the organisation professionally.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Familiarise with relevant Anova policies.
3.Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in Social Work, Nursing, Psychology, or Social Sciences.
- Knowledge of DoH HIV/TB/HCT policies.
- 3+ years in HIV/TB programme coordination.
- Experience with key populations.
- Strong communication, reporting, and computer skills.
- Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel.
